On June 20th, at the current Paris Fashion Week, luxury company LOUIS VUITTON launched its Spring Summer 2024 Men's Collection by Pharrell Williams, which centers around the sun, signifying potential, responsibility, and progress.

The sun serves as a global source of life for Pharrell Williams' inaugural collection for the French Mansion, reflecting its ability to revitalize, heal, and unite people from all walks of life. Through designs, a warm color palette, and gleaming surface ornamentation, the collection pays homage to the sun's effect.

The performance took place atop the Pont Neuf, Paris' oldest bridge, establishing a symbolic link between Paris and Pharrell Williams' home state of Virginia. It represents his journey from Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach to his career in fashion, which was influenced by Marc Jacobs and Pietro Beccari at Louis Vuitton. The collection reimagines sports wardrobes with pearl embroidery and the iconic Monogram, combining American varsity jackets with Parisian workmanship.

The Louis Vuitton initials became the symbol of a new LVERS culture focused on sensitivity, well-being, and inclusivity. They emerge in designs and decorations to depict a worldwide community brought together by a love of the Maison's guiding ideals. The same care and compassion is reflected in all areas of the clothing, from fabrication processes to buttons and closures.

The LVERS logo also alludes to Pharrell Williams' home state's tagline, "Virginia is for lovers." A Marque L. Vuitton Déposée emblem, resurrected from the past, appears throughout the collection.Damoflage pays homage to Pharrell Williams' Parisian pals by combining the famed Louis Vuitton Damier design with camouflage. It comes in a range of colors and may be seen on accessories, workwear, denim, and knitwear. Outdoor sensibilities are reflected in landscape themes and the Louis Vuitton flower pattern, which appear in prints and jacquards on jackets and bags.

Primary hues energize the original Damier chessboard image, which has been recreated in a variety of variations. With this 8-bit Atari variant, pixel artist ET Artist digitalizes the Damier pattern. The Damier leather grain is translated in 3D pigment patterns, and colored Damier expressions may be seen in tailoring, pajamas, and denim. The pattern also has pied de poule and hand-embroidered pearl accents. The dandy mindset generates updated fitted silhouettes that are loosely autobiographical. Suits embellished with pearls and crystals, with their traditional yet modern proportions and collarless expressions, reflect the art of clothing. Shrunken volumes are complemented by oversized pants and box-pleat shorts.

The legendary Louis Vuitton Speedy bag has been modified to reflect the essence of New York City's Canal Street. It has trapezoidal lines, supple grained leather, and a blurred handcrafted silkscreen-printed Monogram. Monogram Copper, which symbolizes the sun-healing powers of copper, is also part of the series. The Damoflage pattern may be seen on handbags, backpacks, and shoe trunks, while the Multicolor Damier design can be found on a variety of Maison symbols.

Courtesy of ©LOUIS VUITTON

Comfort is highlighted in enlarged shearling slippers, nubuck bowling shoes, and LV-crested leather hotel slippers. Sporty options include the LV Sport shoe and evening football boot, while penny loafers and expanded leather loafers show refinement. Super Zoom sunglasses, extravagant costume jewelry studded with pearls and crystals, and a range of hats, gloves, and belts inspired by Damier and Damoflage are among the accessories. American artist Henry Taylor's portraits and symbolic items are micro-embroidered on tailoring, denim, and accessories.

"Pupil King," a filmic prelude directed by Todd Tourso, featured a chat between comedianJerrod Carmichaeland artist Henry Taylor. Original songs by Pharrell Williamsappear on the soundtrack, including "Peace Be Still" and "JOY (Unspeakable)." The presentation ended with a musical performance by Pharrell Williams and Jay-Z, bringing the worlds of fashion and music together in a magnificent climax.

Every year, the Federation coordinates and improves Paris Fashion Week® and its offshoots. During the early phases, the Federation coordinates with other capitals, such as Milan, London, and New York, as well as other events, to ensure worldwide consistency and to remain a genuine development lever to service companies.

The Federation assists member and guest brands with logistical help by negotiating showrooms and SACEM costs early on, and can give financial support for exhibitions (DEFI) based on the brand's status. Paris Fashion Week is a semi-annual series of designer presentations held in Paris, France.

Castamodel VIP

Paris Fashion Week was launched in 1973 and has since become the pinnacle of the global fashion business. Every February, New York, London, and Milan conduct their own fashion weeks, but Paris unquestionably hosts the most prominent event.

Paris Fashion Week activities take place in a variety of locations across the city. The shows are organized into three categories based on what will be occurring in fashion the next season: prêt-à-porter, haute couture, and men's fashion. Each category has its own set of dates. The Louvre and the Jardin des Tuileries are the most anticipated attractions in the 1st arrondissement. You may meet prominent models, stylists, and fashion magazine editors here. Top fashion houses such as Chanel, Givenchy, Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Céline have annual fashion shows in historic structures such as the Grand Palais and the Carrousel du Louvre.

The invites are, of course, in high demand and difficult to obtain unless you work in the fashion sector. Smaller brand exhibitions are obviously more accessible and well worth going. All Paris Fashion Week shows are well-prepared and planned, and are hosted in various locales. If you don't get any invitations, you may go to a neighborhood pub and meet designers, models, photographers, bloggers, and influencers as they unwind after a long day.

High style and fashion made a comeback in the post-war 1950s thanks to these significant designers.

Christian Dior

The "new look" that Dior created, which made heavy use of fabric and emphasized the hourglass proportions of the feminine figure, is credited with fundamentally altering the fashion of the 1950s. Women and the fashion industry applauded the return to splendor despite the new look being in stark contrast to the economical and simple wartime looks.

Pierre Balmain

Balmain concentrated on refinement and femininity in the 1950s, developing the classic French look.

Charles James

James is best known for his magnificent gowns, which frequently served as inspiration for prom and evening attire because of their elaborate designs and distinctive color schemes.

Jaques Fath

Fath's interpretation of the "new look" was less harsh, including gentler hourglass shapes and plunging necklines. He was a favorite of the younger and more adventurous since his designs exposed more skin than those of his peers.

11 Ways to Get Started as a Model Scout, Agent, or Booker

Working as a model scout, agent, or booker can be a rewarding and interesting profession. It's a job that frequently requires extensive travel, attendance at stunning fashion shows and events, and, if you're lucky, working with famous models, fashion designers, photographers, and other celebrities.

As exciting and glamorous as the life of a model scout, agent, or booker might be, it also includes a lot of time spent in airports and hotels, dealing with grumpy models and demanding clients, working extremely long hours, and dealing with disappointment when things don't go as planned.

Scouting's Function

It's critical to distinguish between a scout, an agent, and a booker. Scouts generally scout fresh faces and present them to the model agency that employs them, as well as a range of other modeling agencies. Should one or more of the agencies wish to hire the model, the scout should be able to advise the model on the appropriate agency for their specific needs. Scouts are always scouting, and models may be found anywhere, including shopping malls, airports, beaches, and organized activities.

Once a model has been put with an agency, the agents and bookers take over. An agent and a booker are often used interchangeably and serve the same purpose. The agents and bookers will book the gigs, manage the model's "chart," and ensure that the model not only gets the greatest jobs, but also ones that fit with her brand and career aspirations.

Inappropriate Behavior

Never make inappropriate or sexually suggestive comments in a professional setting, or approach or gaze at a model in an uneasy manner. Because of the nature of the industry, even the most innocent of behaviors may appear weird, if not frightening, to a young

Follow Your Instincts

Being successful also entails trusting your intuition and going with your gut. If you believe one of your new faces has star potential but none of the major agencies or clients agree, you must do whatever it takes to persuade them.
It was exactly that kind of hunch that model scout David Cunningham had when he first met Kate Upton. Cunningham introduced Kate to New York super-agency IMG Models, but everyone at IMG Models believed Cunningham was nuts since Kate "wasn't fashionable enough." Ivan Bart, the head of IMG Models, spotted Kate's promise and signed her regardless.  And the rest, as they say, is history. Kate Upton has made millions of dollars as a model.

The Easiest, Most Perfect Method for Determining Your Ideal Lip Color

According to cosmetic artist Bobbi Brown, the most attractive lip colors will be one or two shades darker than your natural lip color.

Find a lipstick that looks nice on your face when you are wearing no makeup at all, Brown advised in her book, "Bobbi Brown Beauty," if she had to impart just one tip on choosing lip colors.

Apply lipstick or gloss on one lip to test out colors. You've found your shade if it is just one or two shades darker than your bare lip.

Yes, it really is that easy. What should you do if you like to purchase your lipsticks at a food store? Places you cannot try on lipsticks before purchasing, such as a store or department store? The color printed on the package is reliable. Simply place it near your lips and inspect it in the mirror while shopping. Or even better, observe the hue in a window where light from the outside comes in.

Always try before you buy, is what I advise. So, if you decide to buy a color from a pharmacy, find one with a lenient return policy, like Rite Aid.

Tight Lips? Avoid Wearing Dark Shades

Keep your lip color in the light to medium shade range if your lips are on the thinner side. Dark colors will simply highlight your tiny lips. The smoothness and gloss of tinted glosses and creamy lipsticks both increase plumpness.

How to Choose the Correct Red Shade

Many ladies hold the false belief that crimson lipstick is unwearable. Red lipstick transcends age and culture and is always in style. The undertones hold the key to selecting the ideal red lip color. Girls with pink skin should choose cherry red. Olive-skinned people may don fire-engine crimson. Deep reds look fantastic against dark skin. Red lipstick is a definite no-no: It's wise to avoid matching your lips to your attire.

Don't want to wear red lipstick all the time? I learned a quick tip from InStyle Magazine on how to apply a red lip color. With her finger, makeup artist Angela Levin applies red lipstick over Dr. Hauschka lip balm, which serves as a lip primer. The end product is a stunning ruby shine.

You hate the lipstick you just purchased, oh no!

Keep those lipsticks that are slightly off from being thrown away. By mixing lipsticks you don't like, you can produce a gorgeous lip color. Before applying lipstick, use a darker liner to muffle the brightness of an overly bright lip color.

When to Apply Lip Balm

When applying vibrant colors to the lips, use a lip brush. You must use a mirror and skilled application to avoid painting your mouth's outer edges.

Applying Lip Liner

Although you can line your lips before or after applying lipstick or gloss, I think that doing so makes my lips look more natural.

Before applying lipstick, line your lips with lip liner to prevent lipstick from fading so quickly. Because it serves as a color base, you retain color even after the lipstick goes off.

The Challenging Method of Choosing Lip Color

We can dive a little bit deeper into the science of hues and skin tone, yet choosing the proper shade is as simple as going a few shades darker than your natural lip color.

Lipstick colors like nudes, a somewhat apricot tint, pinks, and light corals look excellent on women with fair skin. Avoid using browns since they will look boring.

Medium skin tones can go a little bit darker. Roses, mauves, and berries will make you look gorgeous. Instead of using bright reds, think about using a deep burgundy. With dark or Black complexion, deep plum, chocolate, or red colors look amazing. The Allure's editors claim that "Women with dark skin "may go in one of two directions: toward brown or purple," according to Confessions of a Beauty Editor. Consider a wine or plum for the evening and a caramel or walnut for the day."
